GENERAL
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to make a formal complaint against Stoke on Trent City Council and The Community Energy Scheme regarding the mis-selling of the solar panels.
I was misled into signing for solar panels where I was advised I was signing for a survey to check the suitability of my home (for the solar panels). This was done on an ipad where I was only shown one signature box and I signed on the ipad only once.
Unbeknownst to myself, I had signed for
-a 25 year contract with CES,
-my signature was copied and used to sign for a variation of tenancy,
-also for a lease agreement for my roof
-I had to pay for the solar energy produced.
I never received a paper contract as it was unknown to me I had entered into a contract with CES therefore did not know about the 14 day cancellation period.
Because the contract was entered into fraudulently I believe this to be mis-selling, the contract to be null and void and because of this I would like this contract terminated.
I understand that you are required to respond formally to my complaint so if I do not hear back from you in twenty eight days I shall follow this up. In the meantime, if you need any further information from me, please contact me on

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to make a formal complaint against Stoke on Trent City Council and The Community Energy Scheme regarding the mis-selling of the solar panels.
I was misled into signing for solar panels and was advised I could not have the Stoke on Trent City Council property unless I first signed for the Community scheme solar panels.
I then had to wait 15 days before I could sign for the property and receive the keys.
Once I was able to sign for the property, I was no longer able to cancel the contract I was forced to sign by the Community Energy Scheme as the cancellation period had expired..
Unbeknownst to me I had also signed for a 25 year contract with CES, a lease agreement for my roof and to pay for the solar energy produced.
I was forced to sign for solar panels on a property I was not the tenant of and advised if I did not sign I would not get the property (essentially be made homeless) This process is repeated if I were to try for another property.
I believe this to be blackmail, mis-selling and because I was made to sign for a property I was not renting, the contract was entered into fraudulently and therefore is null and void.
Because of this I would like this contract terminated.
