Sparring is practising against an opponent it is NOT FIGHTING but a means to learn from others and improve on and develop new techniques. Sparring is NOT about your opponent, it’s about YOU. It could be about practising anything. For example, you try a new combination and end up taking a shot, then you’ll remember to not do that in a fight or change how you set it up.
