Fight club- a sparring session for those who want to improve on their boxing technique. Sparring is NOT BOXING but box training as safety equipment is used in the session and there are restrictions on what fighters can and cannot do. Sparring is practising against an opponent it is NOT FIGHTING but a means to learn from others and improve on and develop new techniques. Sparring is NOT about your opponent, it’s about YOU. It could be about practising anything. For example, you try a new combination and end up taking a shot, then you’ll remember to not do that in a fight or change how you set it up.
Sparring is similar to a proper match, except a coach will stop fighters to provide feedback. Sparring is necessary to improve and to practice your art.
